With its gleaming white-sand beaches and turquoise waters, the island of Phu Quoc has always been an enticing place for kids and grown-ups alike. Now, families have more reason than ever to visit, thanks to the hotly anticipated arrival of the inaugural Planet Trekkers Kids Camp at the InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort. In addition to a 250 sqm. space just for curious kids, this exciting program takes full advantage of the luxe resort’s lush gardens, pristine beaches, and pools.

“We are delighted to be hosting Phu Quoc island’s very first Kids Camp this summer,” said Resort Manager Anna Rohm. “Through a range of interactive, creative and educational activities, our new program focuses on broadening the horizons the little VIPs staying with us, and offers truly memorable experiences for a special family holiday.”

Little VIPs is certainly an apt term in this case. The resort offers an incredible array of indoor activities to make sure that little ones have the time of their lives. Kids can try their hand at building sand castles on Long Beach or strengthen their skills at a swimming class. There are also thrilling treasure hunts in the resort gardens, not to mention a giant waterslide at Splash! to provide plenty of chills and thrills.

For children who prefer to head indoors, there is a whole range of activities including everything from traditional Vietnamese dance classes to guitar lessons to arts and crafts. Children can learn to cook delicious dishes to impress their parents or learn to groove in an Urban dance class.

There’s so much for little ones to do that parents can savor a well-earned moment of serenity at the HARNN Heritage Spa or indulge in a romantic meal at LAVA restaurant knowing that their children are in good hands.

With a minimum stay of two nights, families can take advantage of the Kids Camp package starting at US$230++ per night, which includes a complimentary daily breakfast, a free day for one child at the Planet Trekkers Kids Camp, 20 percent off additional days and children, and 20 percent discount on spa treatments for parents.
